In addition to serving on the project teams for Dante Lab, Multimedia in the Long Eighteenth Century, and the Jamaican Slave Names Project, I have consulted on numerous other digital projects still in development at Dartmouth College. These include:
The Dialogues Digital Project
Damiano Benvegnù (Lecturer of Italian)
The Dialogues Digital Project was awarded a CompX grant from the Neukom Institute for Computational Science at Dartmouth College in 2017. The project is a map-based, interdisciplinary, and multimedia exploration of the Dialogues of Gregory Great that focuses on Italian geography and ecology.
Roman Coins Project
Roberta Stewart (Professor of Classical Studies)
Based on an earlier online application (From Art To Artifact), the Roman Coins Project seeks to make available to students and researchers a database of high-quality, 3D images of the coin collection held by the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College.
Genji Lab
Dennis Washburn (Professor of Asian Studies, Comparative Literature, and Film and Media Studies)
Genji Lab will apply the “reader” tool developed for Dante Lab by the team at Mirsky Digital to allow students and researchers to read across and view illustrations from different editions of the Tale of Genji.
